We are having a major problem with girls missing dance this year. We will be implementing a new policy that goes in to effect this week. Please read closely so we are all on the same page.
The teachers will be taking role and if your child is gone, comes late, or leaves early (more than 10 minutes) it will count against them. They will be allowed 8 total (this is all of their classes combined including technique and ballet) marks against them. Once they have hit that they will have to sit out of a performance. We feel that this is the only way to keep it under control. This will help the girls to decide if they really need to miss for certain things and also if they are really truly sick. We have girls sitting out often because they are sick aka as lazy for the day! If they do choose to sit out and watch that will be a mark against them.
We hope that this will help and everyone will abide by the rules.
