PERFORMANCE REHEARSAL

The Elites Co and the Premiers will have a rehearsal at the Spanish Fork High Auditorium on Thursday at 3:00 I understand the younger girls get out at 3:15 so please be there by 3:25 we will be done around 4:15. Please be sure to have your practice outfits on with your hair pulled up and dance paws on.

PERFORMANCE UPDATE

The Elite Company and the Premiers will be the 2 teams performing this Friday the 13th @ Spanish Fork High school 7:00.  There is a mandatory rehearsal on Thursday between 3:00-5:00 at the High School.  I will let you know the exact time later this week. I will be handing out costumes and makeup. Please make sure you have paid for your competition bag and your costume deposit.

COMPETITION BAGS

I sent home the competition bags with the practice outfits in them as long as they had been paid for.  The makeup and earrings will be here in the next few weeks. I apologize that they are taking so long. The girls can wear their practice outfits to class whenever they would like. There will be certain practices that they will be required.  We will let you know when those practices are. They will also be required to wear them to the Master classes at the St. George and Salem competitions.

I was able to get a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn for the St. George competition. They where limited already and I could only get 20 rooms. If you want one you need to call asap 1-435-652-1200

These dates are on the contract that you should have signed and handed in. I wanted to post them here so you did not have to try and remember all of them.

Costume Deposit is due with September tuition. $75.00 for Petites and Premiers $100.00 for all other teams remainder will be due January 14th

Competition bags of $85.40 are due by September 19th

Please feel free to pay extra each month towards these items so come January and February you do not have a high bill!

SUMMER INFORMATION

The schedule for the month of June is posted below. We will be having Auditions July 1st,2nd,and 3rd. With dance following the next two weeks. I will have a price for July soon!  We are planning a new exciting Dance Camp that will be held in August for ALL of the teams. It will be held at Salem Hills High School we will be bringing in guest teachers and choreographers!!! I am still working on a price and I will get that out to as soon as I have all the teachers confirmed. The Companies will not be required to attend EPIC this year but I would still LOVE to take those that would like to go. I believe it will be the third weekend in October up at the Marriot at the City Creek Center!!! Anyone is welcome to attend that dance workshop.

HERRIMAN COMPETITION

Herriman High School is located at 11917 south Mustang Trail Way (6000west) Please arrive 1 hour before your scheduled performance. Please stay close to the dressing area so we don't have to chase girls when we are ready to run through their routines.  It costs $7.00 for 6 and up and free for 5 and under. The girls costume or warm ups will get them in the door.

There are 3 sets of awards 1:30 in the gym 6:00 auditorium and 9:30 auditorium
I understand that this is going to be a very long day.  We would love to have the girls present at awards with their white practice shirts on to end our season all together and I want to take pictures afterwards!

BALLET REHERSAL

We will need all teams at the Salem Hills High School Auditorium on Monday April 29th

Ballet Clothing for End of Year Recital

Hello lovelies!!

Just a friendly reminder that the girls who take ballet will need to have the appropriate ballet attire for the end of year recital. Most girls already have these items, but I know a few have either out grown or have holes in their ballet clothing. If that is the case, make sure they have the following items:

• Ballet pink tights- Make sure they are the kind that cover the entire foot.
• Black ballet leotard- The leotard can be short sleeved, camisole, tank, or halter, just make sure it is all black and is ballet cut so the legs look longer. That means NO attached shorts. And please no rhinestones or long sleeved leotards.
• Ballet pink shoes- Seniors and Elites will need their pointe shoes.

If you don't want to go to the dance store, this website: Discount Dance Supply has a lot of leotards to choose from and they are usually cheaper than in the stores. Just make sure it will get here in time!

If you have any questions or concerns, the girls can ask me in class. I've attached a picture so you know what I am looking for!

MAKEUP AND HAIR

The makeup and hair will be the same as it has been. I am going to go pick out some new lipstick. I can't stand what we have. You can not see it on stage. I will buy a bunch and share. If you would rather have your own, I will post the name of it and you can grab it yourself. I will just be getting it at Shopko!

ATTENTION EXPRESS TEAM

The Express Team will be having an extra practice on Wednesday from 7:00-9:00 we need every girl there. Kambri is now in charge of two of their routines and we really need to work on them, Each girl MUST be there!

ST. GEORGE LINE UP

We are so excited competition is finally here! It will be located at Desert Hills High School. The address is 828 Desert Hills Drive in St. George there is no cost to get into this competition.

The Master class schedule is as follows. You have paid for this class and it is an awesome opportunity. The teacher is Alex Wong from SYTYCD! He is amazing and I would not miss it! I will be sending home a badge that the girls MUST have to get into the master class and recieve their participation trophy!

TONIGHTS PERFORMANCE

SATURDAY SOLO PREVIEW- MARCH 9

Just a reminder for the girls that did solos this year. We will be performing them this Saturday, March 9 at the studio for the other soloists. Be there at 9 AM. Anyone is welcome to come and watch. You can bring your costumes but you don't have to. We will have a light breakfast for all the soloists. Thanks for all your extra hard work and supporting us. We really appreciate you all. Not quite sure how long this will run until. Some choreographers might want to spend some time with their soloists afterwards and just fixing up little things. Thanks!

TRIPLE THREAT SCHEDULE

Triple Threat Practice will be held at Salem Hills High School in the auditorium

Monday, March 11- Elites, Seniors, Sr. Teens, and Supremes need to be there at 3:00.
Juniors, Teens, Express, Extremes need to be there at 3:30.
Petites and Rockstars need to be there at 4:30.
Girls in Girl on Fire will be done at 6:30, if you are not in Girl on Fire you will be done at 6:00

Tuesday, March 12- Same schedule as Monday

Wednesday, March 13- Everyone be there at 3:00, little ones get there as soon as you can.
This practice will be over at 5:30

ROCKSTARS

The girls will be wearing the pink and blue costume with tan dance paws. I want to see how this performance is without tights. It is hard to find them that small in stirrup. If i don't like it then we will add tights for competition. Makeup needs to be purple eyeshadow with a light shadow just below the eyebrow pinkish cheeks and I will have lipstick fake eyelashes to complete it. Hair is done in a slicked high bun done with a bun foundation. I will repost the video. You can buy the bun foundations at Sallys. You can get eyelashes there too!!!

WEDNESDAY THE 6TH SCHEDULE

The Elite and Senior Companies will still have class at regular time and head up to the MM High to practice
The Teen Co will still have class at 4:30 and then we will head up to the High School we can get them there if needed.
Junior Co. will just go straight to the High School
Rockstars 6:00-6:30 at the High School

I have blocked out some hotel rooms for those of you that need one. They are at the Hampton Inn just located by the outlets. The cost is $120.00 and includes breakfast. Please call asap and let them know you are with RELEVE dance competition. The phone number is 1-435-652-1200.

This hotel is also super convenient to the High School. If you just take that main road that the outlets are on and head south you will run right into the school.

TRIPLE THREAT PRACTICE!!!!!

This year instead of our Super Saturday practice we will be holding our first ever TRIPLE THREAT practice. This will be held over the course of three days. It will be held at Salem Hills H.S. on the stage!!! This will help the girls for our Competition season that is coming up soon! The dates are March 11th 12th and 13th. from 3:00-6:30 each day. I will have and exact schedule for you soon. We won't have all the teams there all at once except for the last day we are going to do a full dress rehearsal.  Please mark your calendars. This is a mandatory practice everyone MUST be there!
This will take the place of all the classes that week!

STUDENT EVALUATIONS

Your daughters will be receiving a student evaluation form this week. Please look over them with her.  We did this in hopes that they would try to work on some things in the home.  Especially flexibility. Also for you moms to know what they are needing to work on and also what their individual strengths are. We hope you enjoy this!

Unfortunately early this morning my sister Natalie's home was broken into. As most of you know she does the book keeping for the studio. They stole the lap top along with all the cash. We don't think they took any of the checks with your account numbers on them. They do have the program that has your name, phone numbers, and address. It does have a password and we hope they cant access it. We do have a back up and still have all the information of your accounts. We wanted to let all of you know what had happened. They do not have any account information on any of you we just thought we better let you all know. Fortunately no one in Natalie's family was hurt as they where all fast asleep. Please lock your doors people are crazy apparently they break in now why you are home.

NEXT WEEKS SECHDULE!

MONDAY: Practice at Riverview Elementary from 4:30-7:30 for all teams performing.
If you are not performing your regular class time will be at the studio

TUESDAY: Elites, Senior Co.,  Express, and Senior Teens have regular class.
Plus practice at the SF High School  6:45-8:15
 The Extremes, Teen Co. and Petites will just have practice that night at the SF High School

WEDNESDAY: Elites, Senior Co. will have class until 4:30 and need to be ready right at 6:00 at Springville High School it starts at 6:30. Other classes are normal that day besides Junior Company will come to dance with the Teen Co. at 4:30-7:00

Express team please be ready to dance at Springville High at 6:00

THURSDAY:  Senior co, Petites, Senior Elites. Will not have class this day you just need to be at the SF High School gym at 6:00 ready to go (we want to practice) show starts at 7:00
Elites, Teen CO, and Extremes will not have class but need to be at the MM High School gym at 6:00 ready to go (we want to practice) the show starts at 7:00

Will be having practice this Saturday from 3:00-5:30 to learn a new routine. Sorry for the short notice Lea has a pretty tight schedule being a Cougorette at BYU. 

PRACTICE AT RIVERVIEW ELEMENTARY

All teams that are performing next week have a mandatory practice on Monday the 15th from 4:30-7:30 at Riverview Elementary. Please have dance shoes practice tops and hair pulled up! This will take place of their dance time at the studio.

NEXT WEEKS DANCE SCHEDULE

Please be watching for changes to next weeks dance schedule. Due to the performances,some classes will just be coming to dance early on their same day!

TUESDAY JANUARY 15TH

All the teams that are performing on the 16th and 17th will have a practice at SF High School Gymnasium from 6:45 to 8:30. All the girls must be there or they will not be allowed to perform.

We all know what the New Year means at the studio. CRUNCH TIME!!! Please make sure each student is in class from here on out with a POSTIVE HARD WORKING ATTITUDE!  We are now finalizing routines and starting to polish them.  I can NOT express to you how IMPORTANT it is.  You will probably need to sacrifice other activites to be at dance. I am sorry for the inconvenience but you are commited to a TEAM. Please remember that you made that commitment when you tried out!
