ANYTHING FOR AUNI 5K FUNDRAISER

There will be a 5k on Saturday October 25th in honor of Auni Naulu. She is the daughter of Katelyn and Kambri's very best friends Katelyn and Dallin Naulu and also a cousin to two of our dancers Morgan and Avery Huntington.  Auni suffers from a disease called SMS. I would love to participate as a studio if you can. The cost is $20.00 and includes a t shirt and Magelbys breakfast. We will wear our black T shirts and add some fun dance accessories such as tutus, leg warmers, old dance costumes anything you can come up with! If you have any other questions you can ask Katelyn. She is helping organize the event.

PIYO CLASSES

Piyo classes are now on Tuesday and Thursday morning from 6:00a.m.-7:00a.m. and Wednesdays 9:00a.m.-10:00a.m.  cost is $5.00 per class or $25.00 for a month unlimited pass.  Class is taught by Stephanie Treanor and she will give you a great workout!!!

I was not thinking clearly when posting August tuition. Below is the amount you can deduct from your payment this month. If you have already paid it then please deduct it from Septembers tuition

WARM UPS

We have finally got our warm ups finalized. They are required this year.  I am excited to see all the girls attending our performances in them! I will need them paid for before I place the order. They will need to be paid in full ALONG WITH TUITION by September 1st! I will be sizing the girls when we return to dance. Please come in if you want to see them on your child!

The price includes a name on the Jacket and Pant. I will do their first name on the Jacket and Last name on the pant unless you specify otherwise. They are Adidas brand which is great! They will hold up really well!

NEW PIYO WORK OUT CLASSES

MOM's come join us on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 7:00 a.m. for a new work out called PIYO it is a high intensity low impact work out taught by Stephanie Treanor. Classes start next week and are free for this week only! Come try it out and bring a friend!!!!

BOYS HIP HOP

We are looking for more boys to fill our Hip Hop class. We would love to have some of your boys join us. If anyone is interested please get a hold of me!

Do we have an artists that would be willing to help paint our logo onto butcher paper to hang on the edges of the trailer???? If so please contact me asap and we will find a time to get together!!!

PARADE WEEK SCHEDULE

Monday and Tuesday are regular July schedule.
Wednesday is everyone in parade from 9:00-11:00

Thursday is the parade they need to be in their practice outfits (they will receive them this week if you have paid for them in full) they need to wear shoes that are laced up and preferably black or white. I want them to have make up on but it does not need to be performance makeup. Hair can be done how you would like. We will have ribbons for them to tie in. Please have them bring a water bottle (I will have a cooler of extra water) and a spray bottle if they want to cool off.

DROP OFF INSTRUCTIONS
You will want to come up Highway 6 and turn onto center street.  Go through the 3 way stop and take the first right into the parking lot and look for our truck.  You can choose to walk in as well instead of fighting the traffic. I will be there at 8 A.M I need the girls there no later than 8:30.

TEAM WARM UPS

We are working on our team warm ups that each girl will be required to get this year. We are having a hard time finding a style that the girls will love in both adult and youth sizes. I am hoping to have a price out asap. They will be around $100.00 plus.  If you are wanting to start paying towards those why we don't have costume or entry fees due please fill free to do so. Just be sure to write it on your check!

Wahoooo I think I finally got it! I swear we should hire a Rocket Scientist to do this for me.  Once again I have done my best to accommodate those who attend Young Women's. This means late nights for young girls and late night on Family night. I apologize but this is the only way it works out.  I  have to work with all the teachers schedules as well. This schedule will start the week school starts. The 2 weeks prior we will be doing some choreography camps in the mornings. I will have that schedule out this week.

We will be getting some cute T shirts and shorts for parade and for our practice outfits these are mandatory and I know it is quick but we need to get the paid and ordered to get them here for the parade. We begin class next week and will be working on a parade routine for the 24th of July we will dance Monday and Tuesday the  21st and 22nd and on the 23rd we are going to do a rehearsal from 9:00-11:00 with everyone that is going to be in the parade.  We will do it down the street between the two studios.  If there is anyone with a low to the ground trailer the girls can sit on why they are not dancing that would like to let us borrow it please let me know!

ELITE COMPANY
We will be running this team differently than in the past. They will be all together part of the week for our big routines.  If you haven't seen the awesome old fighter plane in the back studio go check it out it's going to be an awesome routine.  They will be doing 3 together then we will be splitting them up for 2 other routines and for ballet and technique. For example why one group is in ballet and technique the other group will be working on a smaller routine then they will switch. This will allow for smaller class size and more individual attention during technique and ballet.  We will be hand picking the smaller groups starting in August. July we will start on parade and a large routine.

HIP HOP CREW TRYOUTS

Those of you trying out for a company will have the option of trying out for a Hip Hop Crew. You will be taught the combo in class next week. On Thursdays tryout you will perform the routine when we are all done with the company tryouts.  If you have any questions please give me a call!

TRYOUT INFORMATION

We will be having optional classes in May for those who are wanting to continue dancing instead of taking a break.  This is not mandatory but of course I highly recommend it! We all know that when we take a break from something it takes us a few steps back. I do need to know how many girls will be attending class to make sure it is full enough.  There will be a sign up sheet on the front desk. I would also like you to pay a $25.00 deposit to hold your spot. This will also help me determine who will actually be attending class. I will need at least 6 girls in a class to make it work. We will be focusing on technique and combo classes. No ballet for this month.

END OF YEAR RECITAL INFORMATION

The Recital will be held at Salem Hills High School on April 29th and 30th.  Our teams will perform in both shows. The show on the 30th will be the competition teams only and the show you want your family and friends to come and enjoy. There is NO admission at the door. There is a recital fee for each family of $40.00 that needs to be paid before the show.

I am working on getting the stage to practice on for competition. I am hoping the 11th and 12th of March.  I just wanted to give you all heads up to plan on those days  We usually go from 3:00-6:00 or 7:00.

SATURDAY MARCH 1ST

The Elite, Seniors, Teens, and Pre Company will be working on stoning and stuffing dolls. We will provide lunch for them. The more hands the quicker everything will get done. Parents are welcome if you want to help. We will start at 10:00 and have lunch at about 12:30 or 1:00 


The Premiers and Petites are too young:( but if they would like to join us for lunch they are more than welcome. Just bring them at 12:30! Please just text me if they are coming so we have enough food!

Sorry for the late post. I honestly spaced it. The Elites and Teens will need to be at the Timpview High School ready to perform at 5:00 they get in free. If you are watching it will be around $5.00 but well worth the money. It is going to be an intense night of competition!!!
The Seniors will dance from 3:00-6:00
The Pre Company will not have dance.
