There is no class at the studio. All teams need to be at Salem Hills in ballet clothes from 3:00-5:00 to rehearse for Thursday night. The 4 companies plus the Petites will be performing At 7:00 for our Junior show. We will perform Girl on Fire for the opening number. Then they will also perform one more routine. HERRIMAN COMPETITION

Herriman High School is located at 11917 south Mustang Trail Way (6000west) Please arrive 1 hour before your scheduled performance. Please stay close to the dressing area so we don't have to chase girls when we are ready to run through their routines.  It costs $7.00 for 6 and up and free for 5 and under. The girls costume or warm ups will get them in the door.

There are 3 sets of awards 1:30 in the gym 6:00 auditorium and 9:30 auditorium
I understand that this is going to be a very long day.  We would love to have the girls present at awards with their white practice shirts on to end our season all together and I want to take pictures afterwards!

REVIEW FEE

There are several of you that still have not paid your review fee of $40.00 this needs to be paid asap. You will not be allowed to dance in the show or recieve your DVD.

BALLET REHERSAL

We will need all teams at the Salem Hills High School Auditorium on Monday April 29th
3:00-5:00 to rehearse the Ballet number all together. Please note that the Companies and Petites will be perfroming that night as well in our Junior Show.

PERFORMANCE THURSDAY APRIL 25TH

We have been asked to perform at the SFHS Dance Company concert. The following teams will be performing and need to be at the High School Auditorium at 6:30. This will cost to get it!

We would like to have all the companies at the MM High @ 8:30am saturday morning to run Girl on Fire on the stage. The Teens and Juniors don't need to be ready they can go back home to do that. Elites and Seniors should be ready to go before 8:30! Any questions please call!

Ballet Class Parent Observation

Parents are invited to come watch their daughters in a ballet class. Come watch them improve their technique through ballet barre and center work. Below is a list of the dates and times for the parent observation days:

DANCE RECITAL

I apologize that I am just now posting this. I thought I had already done so. Our end of year show will be on Thursday May 2nd at Salem Hills High School @ 7:00p.m. this will be the show that all the competition teams will be performing in. Our Junior Show for all our recreation groups will be on Monday April 29th same time and location. All 4 companies and the Petites will be performing in this show.  We would love to have all our teams but it would be too long of a show! Please let me know if you have any questions. This show is free of charge for all your family and friends. Please be sure to have paid your review fee of $40.00 if you have not done so you need to asap!

SUMMER INFORMATION

The schedule for the month of June is posted below. We will be having Auditions July 1st,2nd,and 3rd. With dance following the next two weeks. I will have a price for July soon!  We are planning a new exciting Dance Camp that will be held in August for ALL of the teams. It will be held at Salem Hills High School we will be bringing in guest teachers and choreographers!!! I am still working on a price and I will get that out to as soon as I have all the teachers confirmed. The Companies will not be required to attend EPIC this year but I would still LOVE to take those that would like to go. I believe it will be the third weekend in October up at the Marriot at the City Creek Center!!! Anyone is welcome to attend that dance workshop.

Ballet Clothing for End of Year Recital

Hello lovelies!!

Just a friendly reminder that the girls who take ballet will need to have the appropriate ballet attire for the end of year recital. Most girls already have these items, but I know a few have either out grown or have holes in their ballet clothing. If that is the case, make sure they have the following items:

• Ballet pink tights- Make sure they are the kind that cover the entire foot.
• Black ballet leotard- The leotard can be short sleeved, camisole, tank, or halter, just make sure it is all black and is ballet cut so the legs look longer. That means NO attached shorts. And please no rhinestones or long sleeved leotards.
• Ballet pink shoes- Seniors and Elites will need their pointe shoes.

If you don't want to go to the dance store, this website: Discount Dance Supply has a lot of leotards to choose from and they are usually cheaper than in the stores. Just make sure it will get here in time!

If you have any questions or concerns, the girls can ask me in class. I've attached a picture so you know what I am looking for! 

PICTURE SCHEDULE

Pictures will be taken next week. April 8th-11th. They will be taken by Cheap Shots Photography just a few doors down from the studio. We will be taking the pictures there. Please come on the day listed below at your regular dance time unless stated otherwise below.  Come in the costume that is listed below. Please bring all your other costumes as well! Hair and makeup can be done however your hearts desire!
